Lead of AI/ML Development & Research, SAP

I am a Lead of AI/ML Development & Research at SAP, focusing on developing robust and interpretable machine learning models for real-world enterprise applications. My work spans across natural language processing, computer vision, and multimodal AI systems.

I completed my master's thesis on a smart recommendation system, applied to the Quantinar knowledge-sharing platform and SAP AI Use Case Mapping, advised by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Härdle and Prof. Dr. Stefan Lessmann. My research focuses on building AI systems that merge information from multiple modalities to solve complex, interdisciplinary challenges, blending AI, robotics, and human-computer interaction.

Fun Fact: In high school, I broke my legs climbing the school fence because I urgently needed to meet my first client for my Web 1.0 startup. Thankfully, I paid the medical bill with the first sale — guess that's what they call "bootstrapping" in the real world!
